LEADERSHIP AND GROWTH

Leading a team to acquire Utilyx Energy Consultancy in 2012 and becoming its Managing Director was a pivotal moment. It showcased leadership capabilities, cultural integration and inclusion and commitment to driving growth in the energy sector.

ACHIEVING REMARKABLE RESULTS

2010

2010 was a year of significant achievement as Mark exited an investment with a remarkable 30x return. "This success reinforced my belief in the potential of strategic investments and sound business decisions."

2015

NEW BEGINNINGS

Mark decided to leave a 25 year coprorate career resigning all directorships to create a mutli generational legacy organisation embracing his entrepreneurial, social impact and sustainability interests.

1999

EXPANDING HORIZONS

After seeing an opportunity in the Asia Pacific market, in 1999 Mark, newly married to Sharon, relocated to Sydney to establish an Asia Pacific Infrastructure Company. This venture opened up new opportunities and broadened his understanding of the international business landscape.

1995

ESTABLISHING FOUNDATIONS

Mark took the leap into the intrapreneurial world by founding MK International' Wireless division. What began as a small start-up soon grew into a thriving enterprise with a turnover exceeding £20 million across 4 countries. This milestone marked the beginning of an exciting journey filled with learning, growth, and transformation.

2001

INVESTING IN INNOVATION

Marks entrepreneurial spirit led him to invest in the start-up MITIE Technology in 2001 focused on the design and build of data centres. This investment was a testament to his belief in the power of innovation and the potential of new technologies.

2016

DIVERSIFYING VENTURES

Mark co-established a property development group, further expanding his business interests.

Setting up SSAS Pension Trust reflected his commitment to challenging tradition, taking control of his personal economy and securing financial futures.

Establishing an investment fund laid the foundation for supporting innovative start-ups and growth companies.

NUTURING TALENT

Having been a mentor and Non Executive Director since 1998, co-founding EquaAcademy in 2017 was a logical next step towards identifying and nurturing great talent and fostering a culture of continuous learning, investment and development.

In 2018 Mark become a best selling author and has since published a further five best selling entrepreneurial books.
